About

During the time I have been a Rabbi, I have made it my goal to ensure that every life cycle event is not only spiritual, meaningful and memorable, but personal. I work hard to get to know the people involved, and connect their personalities and lives to the event and relevant scripture from the Torah, Talmud and Psalms. Each person is different, so I seek to personalize every event to reflect your beliefs, your lifestyle and your personality. My goal is to infuse every life cycle event with passion, a connection to our heritage, and real life.

As a rabbi, I strive to have a lasting, positive impact on every person I meet, just as my rabbis have had on me. When I smile, those around me smile.   My contagious attitude is an important part of who I am. I look forward to sharing my smile with you.

I received my B.A. in Judaic Studies from the University of Arizona. I went on to receive a Masters in Hebrew Letters, a Masters in Religious Education and Ordination from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2009. During my Rabbinic career, I have served as a rabbi and education director in several congregations in the Southwest. I currently serve on the board of Valley Tuition Organization, a non-profit that provides education scholarships to K-12 students.

I consider myself privileged to be Jewish; and most importantly, that I have been exposed to the great diversity that our religion has to offer. My exciting, adventurous and rich background has allowed me to learn about each Jewish movement, the Jewish Diaspora and Israel’s Judaism. These encounters, coupled with my love for my religion, culture and learning are the basis for why I want to be your Rabbi.
